Featuring the superb wildlife found along the shores of this legendary river, we will explore the secluded waters and spectacular rainforest beyond the confluence of the Amazon and Napo Rivers. You will observe thousands of colorful birds, multitudes of both Pink and Gray River Dolphin, and of course other exotic wildlife in the lush tropical wilderness. Learn more about butterflies, insects and the global importance of the Amazon River and watershed. The brilliant flash of the blue Morpho butterflies and the flutter of the giant damselflies will enthrall you. Our rustic but comfortable accommodations maintain a balance between the needs of visitors and preservation of the surrounding ecosystem. Fashioned of local materials by native craftsmen, the structures are built high on stilts with steep-pitched thatched roofs to catch cool breezes and allow you to fall asleep each night with the sounds of the rainforest.
